Chevrolet's LSIII

One of our customers has been tossing around the idea of putting one of Chevy's new LSIII motors in his ride, and we are all for it.

Several thousand dollars later it was here. Now let me tell you, when you have a shop full of gear heads like we do a wooden crate tends to cause a feeding frenzy.

Never the less, Chevy has outdone themselves with this motor. It comes with every part you could think of to install it and have it run with the first turn of the key. Not to mention that it's a pretty nice piece to look at as well. We will have install videos, photos and tech pieces to come in the following days.

Today we are "unwrapping" our early christmas gift. We will have videos of this as well later today.

  1. Do you have a video for installing one of these engines and automatic transmission (4L65E) into a 1969 camaro? You Know I think you are the one who started the trend of putting LS1s Into older cars. When you put one in the Chevelle. I had never saw it done before. Thanks Tommy
